Dear Tom,
I was brought to your foundation site, by another advocate. As the spouse of a sufferer who also has a TBI I would like to say thank you for your efforts in helping take the stigma from PTSD. I have wrote several letters on the behalf of PTSD families to VA officials to have door after door closed, but I have not given up. When I come across others like yourself I know the fight is not over and we will get the proper recognition for our nation's heroes, others who suffer, and their loved ones.
We (myself & other spouses) have developed a site (The Truth In Numbers) on Facebook to do the same. I know there a ton of groups such as that, but ours is monitored daily and is a safe place for sufferers and famiies. Our goal is to educate the public and support those who live with PTSD. Our group stays on topic, unlike many others.
